Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your might and all of your soul

Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your might and all of your soul.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

The Kingdom of Heaven is within you.

Faith is like a mustard seed, faith can move mountains.

The yoke and burden of the Cross seems much greater than following the Law or something akin to it, until you put Jesus first and return to Love every time you must make a decision. If you put yourself first and find yourself struggling to return to Love, then you are suddenly overwhelmed by the weight of the yoke involved with following Christ.

Christ forgives you, as you have been instructed to forgive others. Practice continually forgiving that person from the past who is irritating you with insistent memories. Stop everything you are doing and practice radical forgiveness of all the old bosses, teachers, parents, girlfriends, etc. who pop into you head at inopportune moments, triggered by some random thing.

Forgiveness may seem to be less important than the all-embracing Love, but how can you begin accessing that Love and walking with it, if you are unable to forgive others?

The same goes for gratitude. If you are constantly ungrateful because you are busy pointing out the imperfections in things and people, you won’t have time to appreciate the things God is bringing into your life.

It is almost a given that within a few hours after returning to this peaceful place of thinking high-minded things, something will happen to test you. You do realize you are being tested, don’t you? And, you are failing miserably. Every time you are asked by Life to exhibit more patience, kindness, long-suffering and mercy, you are turning your back on these things, and demanding that Life give you what you deserve. You really don’t want that, though, and you know it. You are really asking for a lot of things that you DON’T deserve.
